Abstract In today's competitive world, product design is considered a very important factor. Increasing customers satisfaction and producing innovative products is considered an important strategy for the success of organizations. A common problem faced by product suppliers is understanding the nature of customers needs, their correct interpretation and categorization, which is extremely important for developing a set of such characteristic indicators that will be very necessary and interesting to product consumers. In addition, one of the most important and valuable assets of manufacturers is the level of today's knowledge of customers, which can significantly attract much more of their attention to this type of product. To get the most out of customer knowledge, many organizations use specific approaches to managing their knowledge. Today, already organizational knowledge management systems exist, which are focused on obtaining a wide variety of knowledge of potential customers in order to use them for their future innovations as one of the most important factors in creating valuable products for both customers and the organization. The systematic use of customer ideas and knowledge, especially those with relevant experience and skills, can play an important role in an organization's innovation, design and new product development process.
