Abstract In machine-building and industrial production, the quality control department is a department that develops both individual methods and complex systems that allow a factory (production, enterprise) to guarantee the quality of its products and achieve commercial success with its customers. These methods and systems are usually developed in collaboration with many engineering and business disciplines. Quality control is one of the topics of industrial and systems engineering that not only makes the quality and productivity of products available, but also improves the performance of the organization. In this regard, depending on the type of factors affecting the quality and sample size of products for control, different scientists have proposed methods such as «statistical quality control», «quality assurance» and «total quality control». Each of these controls requires a basis and tools developed and implemented in industrial and systems engineering.
